Concrete surface coating - decorative surfacing - product anti graffiti

When dealing with graffiti protection we talk about anti-graffiti systems rather than products, because we combine several products with a specific cleaning technique.
The purpose is to create a protective screen so that graffiti can be removed using a method suited to the system in place. Of course, the type and condition of the substrate must be considered before one of our anti-graffiti systems is applied.

OCEAN AGSP SYSTEM : Three coats : TD 117 + TD 116 or TD 123 (matt or gloss) + ocean 3A finish to be renewed after removal. This system is for all substrates except stone and render.
The primer used depends on the substrate.

IMPREGNATION SYSTEM :
- oceanpregne AG : 2 coats on stone, unsurfaced concrete, brick, render.
- ocean 3A : 2 coats.

FILM-FORMING SYSTEM : Can be applied on all substrates
- ocean AGR : 2 coats.
- fixocean A : 2 coats.
- oceangraf : 1 coat.

Due to its ingredients (cement, aggregate, additives) and the application techniques, concrete offers a wide variety of surface appearances. This is one reason why concrete is now considered as a high-quality material which can be left unsurfaced.
Unsurfaced material is often used as an element of decoration. It can be enhanced by colouring which remains transparent. This is a commonly-used architectural trend.

ocean pu surface coating :
This system comprises the TD 117 acrylic primer + TD 115 tinted polyurethane finish.
Matt, satin or gloss appearance. All colours are possible (see RAL colour chart). This is a very effective anti-graffiti system. It is applied on clean, sound substrates: concrete, render, plaster and other surfaces, both interior and exterior.

lasure ocean A :
This system comprises an acrylic primer and an acrylic finish. number of colours. The final appearance is satin. This dirt-proofing process is applied indoors and outdoors, on concrete, plaster and various renders.

lasure ocean ms :
This system comprises a primer and a finish with mineral appearance. The final appearance is matt. The colours are all oxide or ochre based. This process is water-repellent and can only be applied on mineral substrates.

Water-repellent treatment : Water-repellent treatment. Hydrocean n°1 is formulated from a resin in a solvent to provide lasting protection of substrates such as brick, stone, roughcast, concrete, tiles and slate, without altering their appearance.

Hydrocean n°1 impregnates the material thoroughly and coats each particle with an invisible protection which leaves the substrate permeable to gas. It may be used as a preventive measure against mould because it reduces the ability of dirt to adhere and penetrate. Hydrocean n°1 also reduces efflorescence and the risk of damage by frost.

This product is routinely used on floors and walls, indoors and outdoors. It may be applied on a large number of substrates. Contact us for information.

Oil-repellent treatment : Treatment of porous materials against penetration by oils and grease. The principle is the same as for water-repellent treatment. Remember, however, that an oil-repellent product is not necessary water-repellent and vice versa.
OCEANPREGNE N°2 is a totally colourless product with a fluorinated mineral resin base in aqueous phase designed for the impregnation of porous floors and walls.

Today's environment often causes damage to porous materials (concrete and stone) in a number of ways. Binders are damaged by rainwater containing carbonic acid. Partial dissolution can be prevented by a mineralization process which reinforces or restores the surface hardness of a mineral substrate.
Mineralizers are silicated products which react with the hydrated lime in the cement to form micro-crystals.
The silicate present in MINEROCEAN N°1 penetrates inside the substrate, petrifies and crystallises, forming a strong, inseparable mineral bond.
MINEROCEAN N°1 is effective only if the structure to be treated contains lime or alkaline earths.
